Get up to speed with key terminology in order to navigate the world of financial jargon.

3. Concepts in Accounting

Learn the basics of assets, liabilities and depreciation, with clear explanations and examples.

4. Stages of the Financial Cycle

An overview of financial cycle phases and how linked financial activities across the cycle give you greater control over all your financial levers.

5. Financial Statements

Exploring and understanding the purpose and components of each of the four kinds of financial statements.

Session 2

6. Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet)

An in-depth analysis of balance sheets, including assets, liabilities and equity relationships.

7. Statement of Profit and Loss and Other Comprehensive Income

Detailed explanation of profit, losses and comprehensive income, and developing an understanding of income statement components.

8. Statement of Cash Flows

Analyse cash flow movement, including investments, to take greater control over your cash reserves.

Session 3

9. Interconnecting Financial Statements

Recognise how statements influence each other and learn to identify patterns and discrepancies.

10. Financial Analysis

Explore key financial ratios and their interpretations, and develop the skills to assess company performance and health.
